Description

Astérix transports players back to 1992, with a classic platform game for the Sega Master System. Based on the popular Astérix comic book series, the game invites players to navigate through various stages as Asterix or Obelix. Each stage presents its unique challenges, from locating keys to open doors, to defeating end-of-stage bosses. The distinct abilities of each character, from Asterix's magic potion-induced block destruction to Obelix's brute strength, bring a strategic element to the game. With a maximum of 6 health points, players must use their wits and skill to stay alive and progress. The game can be enjoyed solo or with a friend in a two-player mode. A bonus stage awaits those who collect 50 bones, providing additional fun and rewards. The game's design, by the talented team of Takashi Shōji, Tomozō Endō, Com Blue, Siva, and Wariyuri, coupled with Takayuki Nakamura's immersive music, create a truly retro gaming experience.
