Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls.
Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls, a 1994 retro fighting game developed by Leland Interactive Media for Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and Atari Jaguar.
Dive into the nostalgia of the 90s with Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls, a classic fighting game crafted by Leland Interactive Media. Released on Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis in 1994, and later on Atari Jaguar, this game is an American sequel to the famed Double Dragon series by Technōs Japan. Unlike its predecessors, Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls deviates from the side-scrolling beat 'em up style, venturing into head-to-head fighting inspired by Capcom's Street Fighter II. The game features a series of unique modes including Tournament, Vs. Battle, Quest, and Watch Mode, each providing a distinct gaming experience. With twelve diverse fighters to choose from, each with their own special moves and 'Overkills', the game takes you on an action-packed journey through the iconic Double Dragon universe.
Game Controls
The game follows the 8-way directional pad/stick and 6-button layout common to most fighting games, consisting of weak, medium and strong punches and kicks. The Genesis version supports the standard 3-button controller, while the Jaguar version uses its 3-button controller for punches and the 3, 6 and 9 keypad buttons for kicks.
