Description
Action Fighter is a gem from Sega's golden era of arcade games, first released in 1986. This overhead vehicular combat game puts you in the driver's seat of a motorbike, a sports car, and an advanced aircraft to fight your way through five action-packed missions. Power-ups come in the form of a Sega van that you dock with to gain added defenses and attack capabilities. Collect A-F letters to transform your vehicle and gain an edge over your enemies. With each transformation, you become less vulnerable and more powerful. However, the game's time limit adds an extra layer of challenge, requiring strategic gameplay to reach your final destination. Despite being over three decades old, Action Fighter still holds its charm and offers a nostalgic journey back to the arcade era. In 2022, it made a triumphant return as part of the Sega Astro City Mini V console, allowing a new generation of gamers to experience its classic gameplay.
