Description
Astérix is an action-platform game released in 1993 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, and Game Boy. This retro gem is based on the beloved comic book series Asterix and forms part of a series of games featuring this license. Astérix, the game's protagonist, is a short, mustachioed Gaul who embarks on a thrilling journey across Europe, battling Romans and other foes to rescue his friend Obelix. Set in 50 BC, when Gaul was under Roman occupation, the game's narrative is driven by a small Gaulish village resisting Roman rule, thanks to a magic potion that grants them invincibility. The game was exclusively released in PAL format due to its European roots. Full of nostalgia and classic gaming charm, Astérix is sure to provide a timeless gaming experience.
