Description

Immerse yourself in Baseball Stars, an innovative baseball video game developed by SNK Corporation. Released in 1989, it was the first baseball game to introduce battery backup on any console, allowing players to create and configure their own baseball leagues. The game's unique memory chip stored cumulative statistics, thus personalizing your gaming experience. Be the game master with the first-ever create-a-player feature, enabling gamers to name their players and teams. Baseball Stars also introduced a role-playing element where you can earn and spend money to upgrade player abilities or purchase new ones. The game's simple graphics, coupled with realistic fielding features, contributed to its immense popularity. Whether you want to play a one-off versus game or create a mini-league of up to six teams, Baseball Stars offers a tailor-made baseball experience.

Game Controls

The game is controlled via the NES controller with a cross-shaped joypad and two action buttons. Use the D-pad to toggle between selections during team and player selection and to move players while fielding or batting. The A button is used to select players and control gameplay, while the B button allows you to go back one screen, control base running, and tag runners out. The game can be paused by pressing the start button.
