Description
Dive into the world of Bomber Raid, a classic vertical scrolling shooter game on the Sega Master System. Released in 1988 in Europe, 1989 in the United States and Japan, it marked the end of an era as the last game for the Master System in Japan. As the player, you control the 'Freedom Fighter' aircraft, equipped to fire a variety of projectiles. Navigate through five intense levels, reminiscent of arcade classics like 1942 and Raiden. Start with three lives and avoid enemy fire to preserve them. Destroy specific enemy types to collect power-ups and enhance your aircraft's weapons or speed. You can even gain a fighter plane companion to assist in your battle. Use your limited supply of cluster bombs and power pods strategically to clear the screen of enemies or gain extra points. Experience the unique bomb explosion effects influenced by your fighter squadron. The game's designer Hide Itoen and musician Ohtorii have created an immersive retro gaming experience.
