Description

Commando, a masterpiece of the 1985 gaming era, is a retro run and gun shooter by Capcom that's stood the test of time. This vertically scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game lets you step into the shoes of Super Joe, a brave soldier dropped in a jungle amidst enemy lines. Armed with a sub-machine gun and a limited cache of grenades, you'll fight your way through a relentless enemy assault. Each level culminates with a fortress filled with enemy soldiers, led by a cowardly officer. Along the way, you'll have the chance to free transported P.O.W., earning you bonus points. Game Controls

Commando offers simple, intuitive controls. The player can fire the sub-machine gun in any of the eight directions, while the grenades can only be thrown vertically.
