Description
Dive into the 1986 classic, Crackout by Konami, a game that added a fresh spin to the well-loved Breakout genre. Unlike its predecessor, Crackout introduces on-screen enemies that can be hit to gain power-ups, such as parachutes to slow down the ball, multiple balls, or projectiles. Navigate through four diverse zones, each containing eleven levels, and face a variety of bosses, from dragons to centipedes. Every few levels, you'll encounter a boss that changes color to indicate its increasing speed. Discover hidden letters in each level to create a password, which, if inputted correctly at the end of the game, reveals the end credits. Crackout's innovative gameplay and detailed design make it a must-play for fans of retro games and arcade action.
Game Controls
Crackout is played with the standard NES controller. Use the D-pad to move your paddle left and right. The A and B buttons serve to launch the ball and activate power-ups.
