Description

"Embark on a thrilling journey around the globe with Cruis'n World, a retro racing video game released by Midway Games in 1996. This arcade racer, also available on Nintendo 64, is the exciting sequel to the 1994 game, Cruis'n USA, and it offers more cars and an introduction to stunts in the Cruis'n series. The gameplay involves racing on various tracks under a time limit, with the goal to reach the finish line while passing checkpoints that extend your time. The races occur across a range of diverse and iconic destinations such as Hawaii, Japan, Australia, China, Egypt, Moscow, and more. The game's standout feature is the ability to perform stunts like wheelies and aerial flips, which provide speed boosts and time deductions respectively, leading to improved race times and positions. Win all stages, and your car will be taken for a trip to the moon on a Space Shuttle! The Nintendo 64 version adds an extra lunar track and a Championship mode, where players can race for points on circuit tracks to unlock car upgrades. Cruis'n World supports multiplayer mode with split screen, making it an exciting pick for racing game enthusiasts.
