This early platform game set the standard for future titles, introducing the gaming world to Mario (then Jumpman) and Donkey Kong. Navigate Mario across a series of platforms, leaping over obstacles and enemies in a race against the clock to save Pauline from the giant ape, Donkey Kong. With its four unique stages, each representing a different level of the construction site Donkey Kong has climbed, this game offers a complex and engaging gaming experience. From dodging barrels on crooked girders to navigating conveyor belts and bouncing springs, every stage provides a new challenge. The game increases in difficulty as you advance, keeping you on your toes at all times. Relive the nostalgia and experience the game that shaped the future of the platform genre with Donkey Kong.
Game Controls
Control Mario's movements using the D-pad. Pushing up or down will make Mario climb or descend ladders. To jump, press the A button. If pressed alone, Mario jumps straight up, but when combined with the left or right button, Mario performs a running jump. Use the SELECT button on the title screen to choose your game mode and the START button to begin or pause your game.
