Description

"Fantasy Zone is a captivating arcade game released by Sega in 1986, a pioneer in the 'cute 'em up' subgenre. In this game, you control Opa-Opa, a sentient spaceship and Sega's first mascot, as it embarks on a thrilling mission to rescue the interplanetary monetary system. Your journey leads you through a group of planets filled with non-traditional settings and pastel colors. With a variety of bases to destroy and bosses to defeat, the game offers a non-stop action experience. You have the chance to equip Opa-Opa with upgraded weapons, bombs, and engines to increase your attack power and speed. However, these upgrades come at a cost, and you must earn money by defeating enemies, bases, or bosses. Fantasy Zone's unique game design and character similarities to TwinBee make it a must-play for retro game lovers.

Game Controls

Fantasy Zone allows the player to control the movement of Opa-Opa, use two different types of attacks, and land on the ground by sprouting feet. Players can also access a shop to purchase and select upgrades for Opa-Opa.
