Description

"Gyruss, released in 1983 by Konami, is a stand-out in the realm of retro shooter games. Designed by Yoshiki Okamoto, known for his creation of Time Pilot, Gyruss takes you on a space war journey, reminiscent of classics like Space Invaders and Galaga. Gyruss is unique in its gameplay, offering a tube shooter style combined with a forced 3D perspective. The player's ship can move around the perimeter of an implicit circle, creating a distinct sense of speed and motion. The game's background music is an electronic, fast-paced arrangement of J. S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, further enhancing the gaming experience.Throughout the game, face various enemies including spaceships, satellites, asteroids, and laser beam generators, each offering their own challenges. The game features a progression system, moving closer to a planet after each level completed, culminating in a bonus round.Rediscover the thrill of Gyruss, an unforgettable classic that offers a unique blend of old-school platforming and retro shooting action.

Game Controls
