Description
"Joust, developed by Williams Electronics and released in 1982, has cemented its place in the annals of arcade game history. This old-school platformer introduces players to a unique world where knights don't joust on horses but on flying ostriches. The game was designed innovatively by a talented team led by John Newcomer, who sought to create a distinctive flying game that defied the popular space theme of the era. Gameplay involves controlling a knight and maneuvering through floating rock platforms and above pools of lava. The game's objective is to defeat enemy knights riding buzzards and survive increasing waves of challenges. Joust's gameplay mechanics have influenced numerous titles, making it a landmark in the gaming industry. The game was lauded by critics and players alike for its engaging gameplay and has been ported to various home and portable platforms over the years.
Game Controls

Press left or right to direct your mount, tap the A button to flap your bird's wings, and hold the B button for continuous flapping. Use the SELECT button on the title screen to choose your game and the Start button to begin or pause the game.
