Description
Full description:Karnov, an action-packed platform game from 1987, is the brainchild of Data East. The game introduces us to Jinborov Karnovski, aka Karnov, a fire-breathing strongman hailing from the Central Asian republics of the Soviet Union. The game is set on a quest where Karnov, in his pursuit of the ultimate treasure, battles through nine different levels brimming with formidable foes such as sword-wielding monks, dinosaurs, djinn, and much more. Each level climax concludes with a boss battle that rewards Karnov with a piece of a treasure map upon defeat. The game culminates with a final face-off against 'The Wizard', the guardian of the last map piece. Karnov was later adapted into various home systems including NES, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum among others. The game is renowned for its captivating gameplay, compelling storyline, and intriguing characters, making it a classic in the retro gaming arena.
