Description
Step back in time and experience King & Balloon, a retro arcade shooter game released in 1980 by Namco. This addictive game features two green men and their orange cannon, stationed on a castle's parapet, shooting at a fleet of hot air balloons. Your mission: to protect the King from these balloons while he paces back and forth below your cannon. If a balloon manages to land and the King walks into it, the balloon takes off with him. It's your job to free the King by shooting the balloon, causing him to parachute safely to the ground. King & Balloon was one of the first games to feature speech synthesis, a unique feature for its time. The King cries for 'HELP!', thanks you when rescued with a 'THANK YOU', and waves 'BYE BYE!' when carried away. Experience this classic game now.
