Description

"Relive the golden age of arcade gaming with Route-16 Turbo, an action-packed, single-player racing game released by Sun Electronics in 1985. This game is an enhanced version of the original Route-16, released in 1981 by Tehkan and Sun Electronics. It offers captivating gameplay where players navigate a car through a complex maze divided into sixteen rooms, collecting money bags while avoiding rival cars. Fuel management adds an extra layer of challenge, ensuring non-stop excitement. An interesting twist is provided by flags that, when driven over, allow the player to crash into opponents and halt them momentarily. Released exclusively in Japan, the game boasts improved graphics, refined music, and adjustable difficulty settings. Route-16 Turbo later appeared in the two-in-one PlayStation game, Memorial Series Sunsoft Vol.2, and made a cameo in the iOS game Shanghai Musume: Mahjong Girls.
