Description

Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage is a 1994 side-scrolling, beat 'em up video game that takes you into the heart of the Marvel Comics universe. Developed by Software Creations, this unique game is based on the comic book storyline of the same name and brings together a powerful ensemble of Marvel heroes including Spider-Man, Venom, Captain America, and Black Cat among others. The player's mission is to stop the supervillain Carnage and his team from wreaking havoc in the city. With gameplay similar to popular old-school platformers like Double Dragon and Final Fight, the game offers a thrilling single-player experience. It was initially released in striking red-colored cartridges for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and Mega Drive/Genesis.
