Description

Immerse in the retro world of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, a 1992 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game. This engaging sequel to the original Star Wars NES game is part of the trilogy of Empire Strikes Back video games developed for home console systems. Our hero, Luke Skywalker, takes on an exciting mission to destroy an Imperial Probe Droid, escape a Wampa-filled ice cavern, combat in the Battle of Hoth, train under Yoda's guidance on Dagobah, and attempt to rescue friends from Darth Vader in Cloud City. With each challenge Luke faces, he grows stronger in the Force, gaining new powers to aid him in his daring quest. The game concludes on a brighter note than the movie, with successful rescuing of Han Solo and defeating of Darth Vader as the winning conditions. Experience the thrill of this old-school platformer from Lucasfilm Games, designed by Mike Ebert, Kalani Streicher, and Ken Grant, with music by Paul Webb and Mark Cooksey.
