Description
Step into Capcom's dystopian future with Strider, a captivating side-scrolling action-adventure game released in 1989 for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). As Hiryu, the youngest ever elite-class Strider, your mission is not just about survival, but also about exploring, deciphering clues, and uncovering a conspiracy involving a mind-control weapon, 'Zain'. The game's unique feature lies in its non-linear gameplay, where the player must find clues and items to progress. With a vivid blend of action sequences, intense battles, and strategic gameplays, Strider stands as a testament to Capcom's innovative gaming era. With each mission, Hiryu's strength level increases, extending his health and energy meters. Unlock new abilities, engage in epic fights, and traverse through various global locations, all while enjoying the nostalgic vibes of this retro gem.
Game Controls
Strider's controls allow players to slash enemies using Hiryu's main weapon, the Cypher, jump off walls to access unreachable areas, and use acquired skills. Players can also fire a Plasma Arrow, a projectile attack, by raising Hiryu's sword and keeping it upraised until it flashes. The attack button then releases the arrow.
