Description

Embark on a nostalgic journey with Superman, a classic NES game from 1987. This game, designed by Takeaki Kashimura and Thoru Kizaki, presents a thrilling mix of side-scrolling action and challenging puzzles. As the player, you're given control of Superman on a mission to save Metropolis from the sinister Lex Luthor and a group of exiled criminals from Krypton. The game features an overhead map of various city locations, with animated scenes punctuating the gameplay. Your mission gets exciting as you collect icons to use Superman's special powers including x-ray vision, superflight, and heat vision. You start as Clark Kent, morphing into Superman as you gather enough Super Power. However, the game demands strategic gameplay as damage from enemies can revert Superman back to Clark Kent. The game concludes with an intense battle against Lex Luthor, followed by confrontations with Krypton criminals at the iconic 'Statue of Freedom'. This game is a real treat for fans of old-school platformers and 80s gaming nostalgia.

Game Controls

The game is controlled using the standard NES controller. The main character, Superman, can jump, punch, and use special powers like x-ray vision and superflight.
