Description

Enjoy a piece of wrestling history with Tecmo World Wrestling for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Released in 1989, this game was a pioneer, being the first of its kind to introduce a play-by-play announcer, Tom Talker. Relive the excitement of the ring with 10 fictional international professional wrestlers, each boasting more than 20 unique moves. Engage in single-player mode to defeat all the other wrestlers or challenge a friend in multiplayer mode. Tecmo World Wrestling also introduced the feature of action replays with quick cut-scenes for signature moves. Between matches, players can train to increase the damage their moves do during matches. The game culminates in a final challenge against the non-playable boss, 'The Earl of Doom' Blue King. Rediscover the thrill of retro wrestling with Tecmo World Wrestling!

Game Controls

Tecmo World Wrestling uses the standard NES controller. A grapple is initiated when the wrestlers walk into each other, and combinations of the joypad and buttons can be used to perform a variety of holds and slams.
