Description
"Warpman is a captivating multi-directional shooter arcade game that was first introduced by Namco in 1981. This game was later reproduced for Famicom in 1985 with updated graphics and added features. As a player, you take control of the 'Monster Fighter' who is on a mission to defeat the 'Berobero' aliens in the Space World. Your mission gets more challenging as you strive to kill three Berobero of the same color in a row to generate a mystery alien for bonus points. The game gets more exciting as you navigate to the Maze World using the flashing Warp Zone. Here, you will encounter more Berobero aliens but this time, you kill them using time-delay bombs. The game mechanics become more intricate as the strength of your bombs increases with each kill, posing a risk to your Monster Fighter. The game also features power-ups that enhance your gameplay. These power-ups allow you to shoot exploding bullets or attach bombs directly onto enemy aliens, taking your gaming experience to the next level. But remember, you can only obtain these power-ups in the opposite worlds.Warpman also offers multiplayer mode, where two players can play simultaneously. Hence, the gaming fun doubles when you shoot the other player's Warpman, making him unable to move or fire for a certain period. The game keeps track of your score and the round number, pushing you to aim for higher scores and rounds.
