Description

Enter the magical world of Willow, an enchanting retro game steeped in nostalgia and released by Capcom in 1989. Based on the eponymous film, Willow is an action-RPG game that takes you on a thrilling quest. As the peaceful wizard, Willow Ufgood, you are tasked with protecting the holy baby, Elora Danan, from the clutches of the evil witch queen, Bavmorda. As the game progresses, you'll join forces with the brave warrior, Madmartigan, battling against the formidable enemy rival, General Kael. The Nintendo Entertainment System version of Willow offers gameplay reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda, with Willow journeying mostly alone, wielding a sword and shield, and mastering a variety of magic spells. Just like a role-playing video game, defeating enemies will earn you experience points and levels. Willow brings a taste of the old-school platformers, like Contra, and delivers a nostalgic gaming experience that is as captivating as it is challenging.
