Description
Full description: Immerse yourself in Nintendo's classic Baseball, a game that made its mark in 1983 on the Nintendo Family Computer (Famicom) and was amongst the first 18 NES launch titles. This game takes inspiration from real-world baseball leagues and aims to score the highest runs possible. It supports both single player and multiplayer modes, where you can choose from six teams representing the Japanese Central League or Major League Baseball. The gameplay is designed to simulate an authentic baseball experience, right down to the strategic pitch direction and speed. Indulge in this nostalgic journey of retro gaming, brought to life with an engaging musical score by Hirokazu Tanaka. Whether you're a die-hard retro game enthusiast or a casual gamer, Baseball offers a captivating experience of the golden era of gaming.
Game Controls
The game is controlled via the NES controller with a joypad and two action buttons. Use the D-pad to control the pitch direction and speed, choose the base for the pass, or the base for the runner. Press the A button to swing when at bat, pitch when in the field, or return the runner to the base. Use the B button to throw to the selected base or press it with the runner to run out or steal the base. Use the SELECT button on the title screen to choose between a one or two player game, and to start the game. The game can be paused and resumed with the START button.
