Description
Embark on the biblical journey with Exodus, an iconic retro game released in 1991 for Nintendo Entertainment System by Color Dreams through its Wisdom Tree label. This game is an action, puzzle, and educational trip back in time. As the player, you control Moses, leading the Israelites through a virtual labyrinth to reach the Promised Land. Use the power of 'W's, symbolizing the word of God, to defeat foes and clear obstacles. The game's objective is to collect five question marks and a certain amount of manna while avoiding enemy magicians and soldiers. Successful completion of each level requires answering five Bible-themed multiple-choice questions. Answer enough questions correctly, and you'll be rewarded with an extra life. The game's final 50 levels mirror the first 50 but with tougher opposition. The intro screen allows skipping ahead in intervals of five levels until level 81. The Exodus levels' background music is the theme of 'Father Abraham', a popular Christian children's song.
