Description

Gun.Smoke, launched in 1985, is an action-packed vertical scrolling shooter arcade game by Capcom. Set in the thrilling era of the Wild West, it breaks the mould with a unique gaming experience. The game focuses on Billy Bob, a fearless bounty hunter on a mission to cleanse the town of Hicksville from the notorious Wingates gang. Unlike other games, Gun.Smoke offers three shooting directions - left, right, and centre, adding a layer of complexity and excitement. Players can also adjust their shooting style with button combinations, and collect power-ups like a horse for protection, boots for speed, and bullets for rapid shots. It's important to note that despite its Western theme, Gun.Smoke has no relation to the TV series. The game was later ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System and Family Computer Disk System in 1988, offering different music and an enhanced gaming experience.
