Description

"Step into the retro world of Road Fighter, an arcade game developed by Konami in 1984. This car-based game marked Konami's first venture into the racing genre and quickly gained popularity. The objective is simple, yet challenging - reach the finish line without hitting other cars, running out of fuel, or time. Fuel can be refilled by hitting special multi-colored cars. With a total of four courses ranging from grassy plains to a scenic seashore, the game offers diverse landscapes for players to navigate. Road Fighter also led to the creation of sequels including Midnight Run: Road Fighter 2 and Winding Heat. Further, a rebooted sequel was released in Japan in 2010. The game also made cameo appearances in Konami Arcade Classics and on Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits for Nintendo DS. It was later released for the MSX home computer system in 1985 and the Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan and Europe. The game's controls were originally designed for the NES controller with a cross-shaped joypad and two action buttons for navigating the roads at high and slow gears. Experience the retro thrill of speed and skill with Road Fighter.
