Description

Side Pocket is a vintage pocket billiards video game that shot to fame in 1986, thanks to its creators at Data East. This arcade gem was later adapted for six home console platforms, with two sequels following its success. Now under the ownership of G-Mode, the Side Pocket series continues to entertain gamers globally. The game's 'pocket game' mode challenges you to clear the table in a limited number of shots while achieving a set score. Players earn points through sinking balls, consecutive successful shots, and sinking balls in numerical order. Occasionally, a pocket lights up, offering bonus points or extra shots if a ball is sunk. The two-player version allows turns, shifting control with each missed shot or scratch. The game also introduces a two-player nine-ball mode and various trick shot challenges for added excitement. With the option to add spins like left and right English, perform massés, and make jump shots, Side Pocket is a classic game that offers endless fun.
